Consistent exercise and proper nutrition are the TWO keys to a healthy lifestyle. We have all heard it: “you can’t out exercise a bad diet.” And it’s true! You can do all the exercise in the world, but if you don’t have nutrition in check, the results will not be optimized. You may not achieve proper muscle recovery, or may be consuming surplus calories that offset any burned during exercise. A similar response occurs if you add exercise into a lifestyle that already includes balanced nutrition. These two habits go hand and hand. They are two major pieces in the healthy lifestyle puzzle.
I challenge you: if one of the two (exercise and/or nutrition) is lacking in your lifestyle, make a specific goal to improve! See my Day 3 post on how to find and use your motivation to achieve your goals. Your results will be substantially leveraged!
